About the Author
Anna N. Abdulla is a young author who has published 3 story books in the series "Odd Tales and Strange Names." Her books contain fictional short stories that are 'fable-like' tales presented through the lens of animal characters. The stories aim to teach good moral lessons, and contain lots of colourful illustrations that attracts both a young and older audience. Some of the books also contain fun facts and activities including a maze, puzzle, and word search. Many of the stories were inspired by encounters with animals, and some were inspired by seniors of the rural community.

Anna loves the outdoors, is an animal enthusiast, and enjoys interacting with the young and the old. She considers these God-sent inspirations that activate her imagination. These divine inspirations do not only lead to storytelling but also dabbling with creating piano music and songs as well as writing poetry.
Her latest accomplishments are completing 3 rounds of reading of the entire 66 books of the New King James Bible, being featured in an HSLDA Canadian article, public book-reading launches at her local library, completing an online herbal diploma course, taking part in fundraising events for the orphans of Uganda, and taking part in a few podcast interviews about her books.
Anna hopes to continue writing more storybooks for children, pursue a book of poetry, and begin to create music which will help others get closer to God. She believes a relationship with God brings purpose to life and hope in death, adds value to everyone's life no matter the circumstances of birth, and is the great weapon against depression and anxiety that many youths of her generation are facing. With God there is hope and purpose, the silver lining.
